We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator who is committed to providing high-quality teaching and supporting pupils with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and learning requirements
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Develop personalised learning plans and monitor pupil progress
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals
- Promote students’ independence, confidence, and wellbeing
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN is desirable
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices
- Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting every pupil’s development
