Protocol Education is recruiting for a flexible Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis at a welcoming school in Severn Beach. This role would suit someone confident supporting children with a range of SEND and SEMH needs, who understands the importance of patience, consistency, and building strong relationships. Every day can look a little different, so the school is looking for someone calm, adaptable, and ready to step in with a positive attitude. You’ll play a key role in helping a child feel safe, supported, and able to access learning in the classroom environment.
The role:
- Providing 1:1 support within a primary school setting
- Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
- Helping children regulate emotions and engage with learning
- Supporting routines, transitions, and positive behaviour strategies
- Working closely with teaching staff and SEND teams
