A welcoming North London primary school is on the lookout for a skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The pupils you’ll support need consistency, kindness, and someone who’s got the confidence to step in when things get tricky. This isn’t just a classroom support role. It’s an opportunity to shape a child’s whole day, every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with SEND (including ASD, SEMH, and ADHD)
  • Helping children build trust, routine, and confidence across learning and play
  • Using de-escalation strategies and sensory interventions to manage emotional and behavioural needs
  • Working with class teachers, parents, and the school’s pastoral and inclusion teams to ensure consistency and progress

What we’re looking for:

  • Team Teach or PEBS trained
  • Experience supporting children with SEND in KS1 or KS2
  • A calm, proactive approach and a strong sense of humour
  • Someone confident supporting children with regulation, transitions, and behaviour plans
