We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school community. This full-time role involves working closely with pupils who have a range of complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties, sensory processing disorders, and physical or medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups with complex SEN

  • Implement EHCP targets and adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs

  • Support with personal care, feeding, and mobility where necessary

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff

  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with complex SEN (essential)

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Team Teach, or similar) are desirable
