SEND Teaching Assistant – Gateshead

A dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant based in Gateshead, committed to supporting children with special educational needs across primary and secondary settings. With hands-on experience in both 1:1 and small group interventions, this TA brings a nurturing approach to behaviour management and emotional regulation, particularly within SEMH, ASD, and MLD settings.

While not yet qualified to Level 2 or 3, this candidate is actively pursuing professional development and brings strong classroom-based experience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inclusive education. Skilled at working alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and create a supportive learning environment tailored to individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
