Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a SENd Teaching Assistant for a SEN school within a large trust, in Shropshire. The school is a relatively large setting with just under 1100 students on roll. With the school being part of a well-established trust, it offers a solid network and community of expertise within and one where it allows for uniqueness to the individual school from its exceptional staff team of leadership, teachers & support staff.
The school are looking for an SEN specialist to join their department to deliver support to the teachers in SEN classes. The role will involve helping the teachers and doing everything possible to help the day run smoothly.

- Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm

- Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (unqualified can apply ONLY if you have experience with SENd)

- Utilises a variety of teaching methods to present engaging, thoughtful lessons and CPD sessions
- Be an advocate and inspirational leader within their subject
- Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and the well-being with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals and the local community
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced
- Knowledge of AQA exam board and leader within GCSE's
- Confident in supporting pupils with SEND and how to support and differentiate within the mainstream classroom
