A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a well-supported specialist provision in Ruislip on a full-time basis from September for the new academic year. You will be working alongside experienced and supportive SEND Teaching Assistants within the classroom, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching and tailored support to pupils with additional needs.

The Role

  • Full-time SEND Teacher within a specialist provision
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, and complex needs
  • Working closely with SEND TAs, SENCo, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working within a SEND setting or specialist provision
  • Strong understanding of ASD, SEMH, and additional needs
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet EHCP targets
  • Confident behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
