We're working with a fantastic high-needs school in Westerhope that is looking for a compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic SEND Support Assistant to join their team this September. This is more than just a classroom support role. It's an opportunity to help children build confidence, develop independence, and celebrate achievements that others might overlook. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, communication and interaction difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils on a one-to‑one basis and in small groups
  • Helping children access learning in a way that works for them
  • Building positive relationships through consistency and trust

  • Encouraging independence and celebrating progress, no matter how small
