Protocol Education is working with a specialist school in Havering that supports children and young people with a wide range of additional needs. We are looking for a committed SEND Education Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent role. This is a highly rewarding position where you will work closely with pupils with MLD, SLD, ASD, and PMLD, helping them access learning in a way that meets their individual needs. The role is focused on promoting independence, supporting engagement, and ensuring students feel safe, understood, and included throughout the school day.
The school is open to applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including healthcare, social care, residential support, or individuals with personal experience supporting people with SEND. You do not need prior school‑based experience, as full support and guidance will be provided. What matters most is a caring attitude, patience, and a willingness to learn. Experience supporting personal care is also important, as this may be part of the role.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Full‑time, long‑term opportunity
