Protocol Education is recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a specialist school supporting children with Severe Learning Difficulties, complex medical needs and Autism. You’ll play an important role in helping pupils develop communication, social interaction and everyday life skills while supporting them in a safe and inclusive learning environment. Specialist schools in South Shields often provide highly personalised support for pupils with complex learning and communication needs.

- Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
- Term-time only
Responsibilities
- Supporting learning throughout the school day
- Delivering personalised interventions
- Supporting sensory regulation activities
- Assisting with personal care where appropriate
- Encouraging communication and engagement
- Working collaboratively with teachers and therapists
