Protocol Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a PRU setting in South Shields.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ADHD, autism, attachment difficulties and behavioural challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people in challenging environments and will be confident supporting behaviour through positive intervention strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience with SEND / SEMH / behaviour support
  • Strong communication skills
  • Calm and professional under pressure
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
