Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist educational setting in Ponteland. You'll work with pupils who have a range of additional learning needs, providing patient and consistent support that helps them access education, develop independence and grow in confidence.   • Providing tailored 1:1 support during lessons
  • Supporting small-group learning and interventions
  • Adapting activities to meet individual needs
  • Encouraging communication and independence
  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Helping pupils develop social and practical skills
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and specialist staff
  • Building trusting relationships and celebrating progress

Experience in education, care, youth work, coaching or support work is welcomed, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
