Protocol Education is seeking caring, reliable, and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to support a primary special school in Hammersmith & Fulham on a day-to-day supply basis. Whether you have experience supporting pupils with additional needs or bring a calm, patient nature and a genuine desire to help, this role offers the chance to make a real difference — one day at a time. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, but the goal remains the same: helping pupils feel supported, confident, and ready to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting primary-aged pupils (ages 5–11) with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom routines, and behaviour management
  • Providing one-to-one or small-group interventions
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive learning habits

You’ll need:

  • Experience working with children or young people (schools, youth work, or care settings welcome)
  • A calm, flexible approach and strong communication skills
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
