We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist provision. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching a primary SEN class with learning adapted to individual needs
  • Planning lessons that focus on engagement, routine and achievable progress
  • Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
  • Working collaboratively with TAs, therapists and the SENCO
  • Creating a safe, predictable and nurturing classroom environment
  • Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Communicating effectively with parents, carers and external professionals

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience working with SEND or in specialist/inclusive settings
  • Strong understanding of behaviour, regulation and differentiation
  • A patient, resilient and team‑focused approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
