We’re working with primary schools and nurseries across Havering, including Romford, looking for dedicated SEN Learning Support Mentors to join their teams full-time.
Whether it’s 1:1 support or working within a specialist SEN provision, your role will be all about helping pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or within a provision
- Helping children stay engaged, focused, and confident in the classroom
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to follow support plans
- Creating a calm, structured environment where pupils can thrive
- Building positive relationships, often being that key trusted adult

- Experience working with children, this is essential
- Someone reliable, consistent, and genuinely caring
- A calm, patient approach, especially in challenging moments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and get stuck in
