The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN HLTA to join our team. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils with additional needs across Reception to Year 2, ensuring they access the curriculum fully and develop both academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEN in class and through targeted interventions
- Assisting with planning and delivering personalised learning activities
- Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress
- Supporting behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and SENCO to ensure pupils’ needs are met
Qualifications:
- HLTA qualified with experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Experience across early years and KS1 (Reception to Year 2)
- Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiation
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
