We’re looking for a calm, consistent, and caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing Bradford school setting. If you’re the kind of person who builds trust, sees beyond the behaviour, and shows up with patience every day, this role could be a perfect fit.
What the role involves:

Supporting individual pupils or small groups with SEMH needs

Helping pupils regulate emotions and re-engage with learning

Using trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation strategies

Building meaningful relationships and modelling calm behaviour

Working closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and pastoral teams
