Your Role in the Classroom:
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons, plans provided or personalised to your style
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and Key Stage 5 where required
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere with clear and consistent behaviour expectations
- Monitor student wellbeing and escalate any safeguarding concerns promptly
- Complete essential admin tasks such as attendance registers and feedback notes to ensure a smooth transition for class teachers
- Work closely with staff and leadership to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning space
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), including newly qualified teachers
- A solid grasp of your subject and a sound knowledge of the secondary curriculum
- Professional and effective classroom behaviour strategies
- A proactive understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the confidence to act when needed
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to new school environments and uphold their expectations
