Protocol Education is currently recruiting Secondary School Support Staff to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive secondary schools throughout Bradford. Whether you have previous school experience or transferable skills from youth work, coaching, care, or mentoring, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a valued member of our support team, you'll work across a range of secondary school settings, helping students to engage in learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting students within the classroom
  • Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Providing pastoral and behavioural support
  • Encouraging positive engagement and participation

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with young people is desirable
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
