Protocol Education is seeking a Science Technician to join a secondary school in Newcastle. As a Science Technician, you will provide essential support to the science department by preparing equipment and resources for practical lessons, ensuring that laboratories are well-organized, and maintaining a safe environment for students and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a keen interest in science and education to contribute to the success of students in a practical and hands-on way.

In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers to ensure that practical science lessons run smoothly. You will assist in the setup and clearing away of equipment, help manage stock, and ensure that students are aware of the health and safety regulations in the lab. This is a great opportunity to be a key member of a busy, supportive team and to make a positive impact on students’ practical science education.
