Job Title: Science Graduate – Learning Support Assistant / Science Tutor
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £100–£120 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Are you a Science graduate looking to take your first step into education? Secondary schools across Newcastle are seeking passionate graduates to support students in lessons, build confidence in Science, and gain hands-on classroom experience. This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re considering a future in teaching.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting Science lessons and helping students engage with practical and theory work
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to boost progress
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support learning and wellbeing

What we’re looking for

  • A recent graduate with a degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence and enthusiasm for working with young people
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in education
