Are you a Science graduate looking to take your first step into education? Secondary schools across Newcastle are seeking passionate graduates to support students in lessons, build confidence in Science, and gain hands-on classroom experience. This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re considering a future in teaching.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting Science lessons and helping students engage with practical and theory work
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to boost progress
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support learning and wellbeing
What we’re looking for
- A recent graduate with a degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence and enthusiasm for working with young people
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in education
