Care Role with Consistency â Make a Real Difference in Sunderland. Looking for a role where you can truly get to know the young people you support, not just pop in and out? This oneâs all about consistency, connection, and being a steady presence. Weâre working with a welcoming childrenâs home in Sunderland, rated Good by Ofsted, who are looking for one dedicated person to cover maternity leave from 1st May to 1st October. This isnât a âdifferent face every shiftâ kind of setup. Theyâre looking for someone who can stay for the full 5 months, building trust, routines, and those all-important relationships.
Whatâs the role like? You'll be working 2 x 24-hour shifts per week, paid for 36 hours at ÂŁ14 per hour, plus sleepâins at ÂŁ62.50 as part of those shifts. The rota is planned 2 months in advance, so no last-minute surprises, youâll always know where you stand.
