Are you a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Redhill area. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning needs.
The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Encourage pupil participation, independence, and confidence.
- Help implement individual education plans and support strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
