Can you inspire a classroom full of students with the power of music? We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Redcar looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join their team. Whether you're leading a lively practical lesson, introducing students to new genres, or helping them prepare for a performance, you'll play a key role in bringing creativity and confidence into the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who believes music should be accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for every student.

What you'll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Teaching a range of musical styles, theory, and practical skills
  • Encouraging creativity, self-expression, and confidence through music
  • Supporting students with coursework, performances, and examinations
  • Contributing to concerts, productions, and extracurricular music activities
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school
  • Can inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds
  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to high-quality teaching
  • Enjoys being part of a collaborative school community
