We’re looking for a professional, approachable and highly organised Admin Receptionist to join our welcoming Birmingham primary school.

This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys being the heartbeat of the front office—greeting families, supporting staff, and making sure the day-to-day runs smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

  • ️ Previous experience in a school office or education setting

  • ️ Confident user of SIMS and/or ParentPay systems

  • ️ Excellent communication skills—warm, clear, and professional

  • ️ Ability to stay calm, prioritise tasks, and multitask in a busy environment

  • ️ A polite, friendly, and proactive approach to every day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors

  • Managing calls, emails and general admin tasks efficiently

  • Supporting the wider admin team with pupil records, registers and finance tasks

  • Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding at all times
