You’ll be supporting pupils across mainstream classrooms - helping them focus, feel understood and thrive day to day. What you'll be doing:
- Supporting pupils in class, 1:1 or in small groups
- Helping children stay engaged, regulated and confident in their learning
- Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Encouraging social skills, focus and resilience
- Bringing patience, empathy and a good sense of humour every day
What you’ll need:
- A psychology degree (or be working towards one)
- Some experience with children or young people (school, tutoring, childcare, volunteering all count!)
- A calm, consistent approach and bags of emotional intelligence
- A genuine interest in education and child development
