We're working with welcoming primary schools in Hartlepool looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Working with individual pupils and small groups to build confidence and understanding
  • Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management
  • Encouraging every child to reach their full potential

What you'll need:

  • Experience supporting children in a UK primary classroom
  • Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
  • A positive, patient and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
