Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in BS4 seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and engaging Primary Educator to join their team from September. You don't need Qualified Teacher Status to make a real difference. If you've gained experience through schools, childcare, coaching, youth work, mentoring or similar environments and feel confident supporting children's learning and development, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly school community where every member of staff plays an important role in helping pupils feel confident, supported and inspired to learn. You'll work closely with class teachers, support small groups and individual pupils, and help create a positive learning environment where children can thrive. Experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs is desirable, but not essential. The school is looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range
- Working with small groups and individual pupils
- Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Helping children build confidence and independence
- Providing additional support for pupils who need extra guidance

What We Need to Clear You
- Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
- Two proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill, council tax statement)
- CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education, with any gaps explained
- References covering the last 2 years (including childcare references where applicable)
- Overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
