The role focuses on supporting students who need additional emotional, behavioural, or social support to fully engage with school life and learning. You’ll work closely with pastoral leaders, SEN staff, and teaching teams to provide consistent, targeted support across KS3–KS5.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group pastoral support
- Support students with SEMH needs, behaviour, and attendance
- Act as a trusted adult and positive role model
- Support reintegration and targeted intervention programmes
- Work collaboratively with pastoral, SEN, and safeguarding teams
The ideal candidate:
- Experience in pastoral care, mentoring, youth work, or similar
- Confident supporting SEMH and behavioural needs
- Calm, resilient, and emotionally intelligent
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
