Protocol Education is working with welcoming primary schools across Peterlee to recruit enthusiastic Trainee Teaching Assistants for full-time roles starting in September.
No previous school experience?
No problem.
We're looking for caring, motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting children and eager to begin a career in education.
Whether you've worked in customer service, care, retail, hospitality, sports coaching or childcare, your transferable skills could make you an excellent Teaching Assistant.
You'll receive ongoing support from our experienced consultants and have access to FREE training to help you build the confidence and skills needed to succeed in the classroom.

- Your responsibilities
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Working alongside experienced class teachers
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Encouraging children's confidence and engagement
- Assisting with classroom activities and learning resources
- Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment
