SEND Classroom Support Assistant - North Shields (Full-Time)

A supportive primary school in North Shields is looking for a SEND Classroom Support Assistant to work alongside pupils with Autism, ADHD and additional learning needs.
You’ll be part of a dedicated team helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships and supporting children to overcome barriers in education.
Location: North Shields
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting children with additional learning needs
- Supporting communication and social development
- Encouraging positive classroom participation
- Working closely with teachers and SEND staff
- Helping pupils build confidence and independence
