We are recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Northumberland, North Tyneside, and Newcastle. This is a flexible role ideal for individuals looking for seasonal, short-term, or ongoing work during GCSE, A-Level, and mock exams.
Exam invigilators ensure exams run smoothly, fairly, and in line with JCQ regulations, providing a calm and organised environment for students.
Key responsibilities- Supervise pupils during examinations in line with JCQ regulations
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
- Ensure a quiet, controlled, and fair exam environment
- Report any issues or irregularities to the Exams Officer
- Assist with setting up and clearing exam rooms
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Confident working with secondary-aged students
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous invigilation experience is helpful but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
