A Primary School in Newcastle Upon Tyne is looking for a Speech & Language Support professional to join their school-based provision from September 2026. This role is ideal for someone with a Speech and Language qualification or strong Speech & Language experience who is confident supporting pupils with communication and language needs within a primary setting.

Location: Newcastle (NE4)

Hours: 8:30 - 15:30, Monday-Friday

Start Date: September 2026 (trial sessions available ASAP)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted Speech & Language support to pupils across school
  • Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions to develop communication skills
  • Support pupils with speech, language, and social communication needs
  • Help pupils build confidence with vocabulary, comprehension, and expressive language
  • Work closely with teachers and SEND staff to embed strategies into the classroom
  • Support pupils with communication barriers to access learning and routines
