At Protocol Education we are looking for an enthusiastic SEND or mainstream Primary School Teacher who will bring passion to the classroom. We are working closely with a friendly specialist school in Gateshead. If you are all about helping children with Special Educational Needs, this might be the opportunity for you!
What you’ll be doing as a SEND teacher:
- Teaching and adapting lessons for the pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
- Working closely with TAs, therapists and parents to build strong support networks
- Bringing creativity, structure and calm energy to every lesson
- Making progress personal, not just measurable
Requirements for the role as SEND Teacher:
- QTS
- Experience working in a classroom setting, ideally with SEND pupils
- A nurturing, consistent approach
- Confidence working alongside TAs, therapists, and SENCOs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
