A supportive primary school in Jesmond is looking for a SEND Support Assistant to work with pupils who require additional support with learning, communication and emotional regulation.
You'll help provide the structure, encouragement and consistency pupils need to thrive.
Location: Jesmond
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils with SEND needs
- Working on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
- Encouraging communication and social interaction
- Helping pupils engage in lessons
- Supporting emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with teachers and the SEND team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
