We are recruiting a full-time SEND Learning & Care Support Assistant to work within specialist education settings supporting learners with SEND, SEMH, autism and additional needs. This role combines learning support and care support, making it ideal for candidates with experience in education, care, youth work, support work or health and social care who are looking for a stable, rewarding full-time role. You will support learners throughout the day, helping them access education, manage their wellbeing and develop independence in a safe, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group learning support
- Support emotional regulation and behaviour
- Assist learners with accessing education and activities
- Provide care support where required, including personal care and daily routines
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with teaching, care and pastoral teams
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people in education, care or support roles
