A welcoming primary school in Denton is looking for a compassionate and switched‑on Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 with SEND starting September. What you will be doing:

  • Providing one-to-one support to a year 3 pupil with complex needs
  • Helping your pupil feel calm, confident and included
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Helping children develop their communication, social, and fine motor skills through creative play and hands‑on activities
  • Creating a safe, encouraging space where every child feels valued and included

Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30

About you:

  • Recent psychology graduate or similar with a passion for working with young children
  • Patient, empathetic, and ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners
  • Great communication skills and a natural ability to connect with children
  • Willing to get stuck in, learn on the job, and bring energy to every day
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
