A welcoming primary school in Denton is looking for a compassionate and switched‑on Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 with SEND. What you will be doing:
- Providing one‑to‑one support to a year 3 pupil with complex needs
- Helping your pupil feel calm, confident and included
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Helping children develop their communication, social, and fine motor skills through creative play and hands‑on activities
- Creating a safe, encouraging space where every child feels valued and included
Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30
About you:
- Recent psychology graduate or similar with a passion for working with young children
- Patient, empathetic, and ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners
- Great communication skills and a natural ability to connect with children
- Willing to get stuck in, learn on the job, and bring energy to every day
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
