The Role
- Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Work one-to-one and with small groups to help students access learning
- Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, sensory processing differences, physical disabilities and additional learning needs
- Help students develop independence, organisation, emotional regulation and life skills
- Implement strategies recommended by Occupational Therapists and other external professionals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, the SEND team and pastoral staff to remove barriers to learning
- Encourage confidence, resilience and positive engagement throughout the school day
