Protocol Education is seeking an English Graduate to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Gosforth as a Literacy & Academic Support Assistant. Role Summary: As an English Graduate, you will support students in developing reading, writing and communication skills. You will work with teaching staff to deliver targeted support, help pupils engage with classroom activities and contribute to improving confidence and attainment in literacy.

Key tasks:

  • Support English lessons with classroom assistance and small-group work
  • Deliver structured literacy interventions, including reading and writing programmes
  • Assist students preparing for exams with effective revision techniques
