Are you a Criminology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience before a career in Youth Justice, Probation, Policing, Social Work, Educational Psychology or Teaching? Protocol Education is recruiting motivated Criminology graduates to support students in secondary schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland. This is an exciting opportunity to use your understanding of behaviour, safeguarding and the factors that influence young people’s lives while making a genuine difference every day.

You’ll gain invaluable experience by:
- Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis
- Helping young people regulate emotions and make positive choices
- Working with students with SEMH needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs
- Supporting behaviour management using positive and restorative approaches
- Building trusting relationships that encourage confidence, resilience and engagement
- Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams and SEND professionals

We’re Looking For
- A degree in Criminology (or a related subject)
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, resilient and confident individuals
- Positive role models who can build excellent relationships
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
