Behaviour Mentors – Secondary Schools (Newcastle)

£89.39–£100 per day | ASAP

Secondary schools across Newcastle are recruiting behaviour mentors to support students who struggle with boundaries, engagement and emotional regulation. These roles are central to the schools’ pastoral provision and require adults who can remain calm, consistent and authoritative.

The role includes:

  • Supporting students in lessons and during interventions
  • De‑escalating behaviour and reinforcing expectations
  • Acting as a trusted adult for students who need additional support
  • Working alongside pastoral leads and SEND teams

This role suits candidates with experience in:

  • Behaviour mentoring
  • Youth work
  • Support or care roles

Long‑term placements available with the opportunity to build strong relationships within one school. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
