You’re the calm in the classroom storm. The steady presence that helps lessons run smoothly and pupils feel seen. We have some local Primary Schools in Morden that need someone exactly like you. We’re looking for a qualified HLTA to join a vibrant, inclusive school that values reliable and consistent support staff. What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading small group interventions and occasional whole-class cover
  • Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (based on your strengths)
  • Collaborating closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Helping to create a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment
  • Supporting SEN pupils with care, confidence, and consistency

You’ll need:

  • HLTA qualification or relevant experience covering classes
  • Confidence in managing a classroom independently
  • A warm, proactive approach with bags of patience
  • Good understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN support
