About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside class teachers to help create a supportive learning environment where pupils can flourish.

Every day brings something different, giving you the chance to gain valuable experience across a range of year groups and school settings.

Your duties may include

  • Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Providing 1:1 support and leading small group interventions
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and lesson preparation
  • Promoting positive behaviour and helping to maintain a welcoming classroom environment
  • Supporting children with a range of learning needs
  • Who We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from individuals who

  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for working with children
  • Are reliable, adaptable and eager to learn
  • Communicate confidently and work well as part of a team
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Have previous experience in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one through Protocol Education
