SEN Teacher Required in Merton
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in the Merton area.
This rewarding role involves working with pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs and help pupils reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons
- Support pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, parents, and external professionals
- Promote pupil wellbeing, confidence, and independence
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
