We are seeking dedicated and caring SEN Support Assistants to work within welcoming and inclusive primary schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities
- Support pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
- Relevant qualifications or school-based experience (desirable but not essential)
