Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher looking for a rewarding role within a supportive school environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated PPA Cover Teacher to provide high-quality teaching across a range of year groups during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and flexible educator who enjoys working with different classes and making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various year groups.
  • Follow school planning and ensure continuity of learning.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Assess pupil engagement and provide feedback where required.
  • Support the academic and personal development of all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within UK primary schools is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different classes and subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
