Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative EYFS lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Adapt quickly to different settings and classroom environments.
  • Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of all children in your care.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), EYTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within an Early Years setting is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and framework.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
