As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside Maths teachers to support learning within lessons, deliver targeted numeracy interventions, and assist pupils who require additional support to access the Maths curriculum.
Secondary schools across the North East are recruiting a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils within Mathematics departments at Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for graduates with a maths or numeracy‑based degree who are considering a future career in teaching or education.
Key responsibilities:- Supporting Maths lessons within the classroom
- Working with small groups or individual pupils on numeracy skills
- Assisting with intervention sessions and catch‑up programmes
