We are currently recruiting for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development across the school.

Start Date: After the Easter break

Pay: £95 – £125 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
  • Leading small group interventions and targeted support sessions
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Working closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with varying learning needs

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working within a school environment
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to confidently lead a classroom when required
  • A proactive and supportive approach to working with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
